New Head Coach Samantha Snider has named her Assistant Coaches. Ryan Snider and Dave Kuzara are the new Assistant Coaches.
Liah Bosworth, L10 from San Mateo Gymnastics, has committed to UC Davis. She finished 1st on vault and 4th AA at her 2017 NorCal meet. She was 8th AA at regionals and 39th AA at JOs.
Anyssa Alvarado, L10 from SCEGA, has committed to BYU. She placed 2nd AA at her 2017 SoCal meet and 7th AA at regionals. She finished the season at JOs, placing 32nd AA.
Hannah Nam, L10 from Cincinnati Gymnastics, has committed to North Carolina. She finished 1st on beam and floor at her 2017 state meet. She was 3rd AA at regionals and 9th AA at JOs.
Miranda Mornhineway, L10 at North Stars, has signed with Bridgeport. In 2016 she competed to a 12th place regionals finish. She missed the 2017 season except for an appearance on two events at her state meet.
Alexa Rothenbuescher has committed to Maryland. She is a Level 10 at Capital Gymnastics National Center. This season she finished 1st AA and swept the events at her state meet. She placed 2nd AA and tied for the vault title at regionals. She placed 14th AA at JOs.
The NCAA has approved major changes to the Women's postseason bracket format, starting in 2019. This fundamental change will do away with six team sessions in favor of four team sessions, including the finals.
Allie Stern to OU has committed to OU. She is a Level 10 from Perfect Balance in N. Carolina. She placed 1st on V and FX at her 2017 state meet. She was 1st on FX and 5th AA at regionals. She was 1st on V and 30th AA at JOs.
Injury is an inherent part of any athletic endeavor and no one understands this better than college coaches. There are many prospects and families who hedge when bringing up the topic of injury as part of the college process, with fear that a coach will see this as a weakness and therefore diminish recruiting opportunities.
Days before he was due to start, Josh Nilson has resigned as Head Coach at EMU, for personal family reasons. A new search will be conducted.

Elizabeth DeBarberie, L10 from AJS Pancott, has committed to Maryland. She finished 1st in the AA and on bars, beam and floor at her 2017 regional meet. She tied for 6th AA at JOs.
USA Gymnastics has released the Daniels report, which is filled with a series of wide-ranging recommendation for change in the wake of numerous scandals, abuse and leadership issues that have rocked the organization. First and foremost, the report calls for a sweeping culture change.

Anna Huber of Rochester Gymnastics has committed to Florida. This season she competed in the elite session of the Metroplex Challenge. She placed 1st on vault and 3rd AA. She also competed one event at the Rochester Classic and finished 1st on bars.
SPU has hired former assistant and SPU standout Deni (Boswell) Maxwell. She previously served as an assistant between 2008 and 2010. She replaces Carly Dockendorf-Ruggiero, who resigned to relocate to Utah for her husband's new job.

Interim Head Coach Mike Rowe has been named Head Coach at Michigan State. He's been an assistant for the last three seasons, and was an assistant at Pitt for nine seasons. Former assistant coach Nicole Curler has been named the Associate Head Coach.
