Carissa Ludwig and MyKenna Toungate have committed to WMU for the 2018-19 year. We previously announce Mykenna Toungate as a 2019 grad.
Carissa Ludwig is from Stars and Stripe Gymnastics. She won her L10 state meet in 2016. At 206 regionals she picked up the vault title and placed 4th AA. She went on to place 19th AA at 2016 JOs.
WMU has added Dominique Militello to it's incoming roster. She is a L10 from Bay Valley Gym Club in Michigan. She placed 1st on beam and 4th AA at her 2017 state meet and 11th AA at regionals.
PSU has hired Sarah (Shire) Brown as their 8th Head Coach in history. Brown had been the Head Coach at EMU this past season.

Seven men have accepted appointments and will compete for Air Force in 2017-2018:
Lexi Griffith, L10 from Metroplex, has committed to BYU. She finished 2ndAA at the Metroplex Challenge and 4th AA at the WOGA Classic. She placed 4th AA at her state meet and qualified to regionals.
Okada has been Cal's Assistant Coach for five years. He replaced Brett McClure.
Pitt's Debbie Yohman has announced her retirement after 31 seasons.

Emily Lee, junior elite from West Valley Gymnastics, has committed to UCLA. She competed at the 2016 Secret Classic and placed 9th on beam. She also competed at te 2016 P&G Championships and qualified to event finals on beam, placing 7th.
As we finish our post-NCAA "detox", it's time to look forward to the next season. Here's a few observations and a look forward to next season, including some thoughts on the upcoming code revision.

NU has signed Canadian Mitch Tyndall for 2017-2018. He trains at Taiso and was a member of the Canadian Junior National team from 2012 to 2013.

Ashley Albrecht, a L10 from LEGA, has signed with UIC. The L10 placed 10th AA at the 2016 L10 JO Nationals. She also recently won her L10 Regional meet, winning VT and FX in the process.

Ball State has announced that Vicky Garcia, Tia Kiaku, Arden Hudson and Tori Long will join the squad next season as walkons.

Charlotte Tishkoff of Gold Medal Gymnastics in Arizona has committed to Western Michigan. She is a Level 10 who placed 1st on floor and 2nd AA at her 2017 state meet. She placed 11th AA at regionals.
