Rutgers 194.3 at Ohio State 195.775

Alexis Mattern had a career-day to lead the Buckeyes to a win over Rutgers, 195.775 to 194.3.  Mattern won the VT, FX and tied for the UB title with teammate Olivia Aepli.  She then won the AA with a 39.4.  Teammate Taylor Harrison took the BB.

MSU 194.775 at Penn State 195.925

Host PSU rebounded to a 195.925 to defeat the Spartan's 194.775.  PSU was able to put six up on each even this week, as they welcomed back key gymnasts like Mason Hosek, Emma Sibson and Oni Timothy.  Sabrina Garcia led the Nittany Lions with a win in the AA (39.4).  She also tied for the FX title with MSU's Elena Lagoski.  Teammate Nicole Medvitz won the BB.  For MSU, Nicola Deans won VT and Hailee Westney won the UB.

Cal 195.725 at Utah 196.45

Host Utah came back from early problems on UB to defeat Cal, 196.45 to 195.725, in front of a crowd of 15,326.  MaKayla Skinner led Utah with a 39.5 AA win.  She also won FX and tied for the VT title with teammate MaKenna Merrell.  Merrell tied for the BB title with teammate Kari Lee.  Ute Tiffani Lewis tied Cal's Emily Richardson for the UB, where the Utes had to count a rare fall.  Both teams felt the absence of key gymnasts, with Utah having lost Kim Tessen (Achilles) and Sabrina Schwab (ACL) and Cal losing star Toni-Ann Williams (Achilles) this past week.

UCLA 197.15 at ASU 194.6

UCLA posted a 197.15 to defeat host ASU's 194.6.  Bruin Madison Kocian posted a 39.625 to win the AA and lead the Bruins.  She also won the FX while classmate Kyla Ross won the VT and BB (9.975).  Bruin Peng Peng Lee completed the sweep with a win on UB.

WVU 195.875 at Kent State 194.875

WVU collected a big road score of 195.875 to defeat host Kent State's 194.875.  Kirah Koshinksi led the Mountaineers with wins on VT and FX.  Teammate Alexa Goldberg took the UB and the AA with a 39.15.  WVU's Brooklyn Doggette completed a sweep with a win on BB.

Brown 192.225 at Yale 193.5

Host Yale posted a 193.5 to defeat Ivy rival Brown's 192.225.  Yale's Jade Buford posted a meet-high 9.85 to score the win on FX.  Teammate Tatiana Winkelman posted a 9.825 to win BB, while Allison Bushman and Megan Ryan tied for the UB title.  Brown's Caroline Morant won the VT while teammate Anya Olson took the AA (38.55).

Ithaca 182.3 at Brockport 189.975

Host Brockport justed missed 190 but that was more than enough to down Ithaca.  Brockport got wins from Caitlin Elsadek and Maddie O'Braitis on UB, Jen Sklenar on BB and Candis Kowalik on FX.  Ithaca's Carolyn Nichols won the VT.

Bridgeport 194.075 at SCSU 192.0

SCSU set a new school record but it wasn't enough as the Purple Knights swept the individual events and took home the win, 194.075 to 192.  Bridgeport won 3 of 4 events as a team.

Temple posted a school record 193.95 to defeat Pitt (193.525), West Chester (191.675) and Ursinus (190.85).  For Temple, Sahara Gipson tied for the VT title with Pitt's Tracey Pearson and Meagan Oscar.  Teammate Daisy Todd tied for the UB title with WCU's Majesta Valentine.  Valentine also won the FX and AA (39.075).  Pitt's Brittany West won the BB.

UC Davis 194.825 at San Jose State 193.925

UC Davis travelled to the South Bay to defeat San Jose State 194.825 to 193.925.  The Aggies notched wins from Alexis Brown on VT and Katy Nogaki and Rachel Kreager on BB.  Teammate Miranda Holder tied for BB honors with SJSU's Kaitlin Won.  Won won the AA with a 39.225 while teammate Kaprece Nandoza won the UB.

Alaska Anchorage 190.9 at Sac St 194.4

Caitlin Soliwoda posted a career-high 39.15 to win the AA and lead Sacrament State to a 194.4 to 190.9 win over Alaska-Anchorage.  Soliwoda also won the FX and tied her twin sister Courtney for UB honors.  Teammate Julia Konner won the VT while Hornet Lauren Rice tied for the BB title with UAA's Kendra Daniels.

BYU 194.85 at USU 195.85

Host USU notched its 500th win in school history to defeat in-state rival BYU, 195.85 to 194.85.  The mark was a new season high.  Madison Ward led the Aggies with wins on VT and FX.  Teammate Keri Peel won the UB.  For BYU, frosh Shannon Hortman won the BB and the AA (39.275).

Elite Canada: Senior Women Day 1

Canada's Elite Canada meet features their top Elite gymnasts as they attempt to qualify for High Performance status and earn assignments at International events.  Day 1 featured the AA and Sunday will be the event finals.  The next generation was on full display, with Jade Chrobok winning the meet with a 52.917 (new Code).  Fellow new seniors Megan Phillips and Brooklyn Moors were 2nd and 3rd.  UGA commit Megan Roberts was 4th at 50.1 while Washington commit Madeline McLellan was 7th (49.267).  Michigan commit Sydney Townsend was 12th (48.3).  Former UGA GymDog Brittany Rogers did two events, including the 5th highest BB score.

Men's: PSU 404.55 at Illinois 411.35

Host Illinois posted a 411.35 to defeat PSU's 404.55.  The Illini captured team wins on FX, R, VT, PB and HB.  Johnny Jacobson led the Illini, winning VT and PB.  Teammates Taylor Smith (FX), Alex Diab (R), and Tyson Bull (HB) each took individual honors.  PSU's Stephen Nedoroscik won the PH while Favian Valdez posted an 80.95 to win the AA.

SUU 194.325 at Boise State 197.025

Boise State broke into the 197 club with a 197.025 to defeat a struggling SUU (194.325, BB 47.375).  Shani Remme led the Broncos, winning the BB and the AA (39.45).  She also tied for the FX title with four others:  teammates Paige Urquhart, Sarah Means and Sandra Collantes, plus SUU's Danielle Ramirez.  Collantes and Bronco Diana Mejia tied for the UB title while teammate Ann Stockwell shared honors on VT with SUU frosh Madison McBride.

Missouri 195.425 at LSU 197.425

LSU posted a 197.425 to easily defeat Missouri's 195.425, despite some issues throughout.  Head Coach D-D Breaux claimed "We really struggled tonight for everything".  LSU's Ashleigh Gnat won FX and tied for the VT title with teammate Myia Hambrick.  Tiger Sarah Finnegan won the BB while frosh Ruby Harrold took the UB.  LSU frosh Kennedi Edney won the AA (39.375).
