The Women's National Rankings are out for the week of March 7th. The Regional Qualifying Score, or RQS rankings are now coming down to critical races for the Top 18 and the Top 36. OU continues to lead the team race, with Florida 2nd and LSU 3rd.
The Women's National Rankings are in their second week of using the Regional Qualifying Score, or RQS. However, OU remains #1 and UF #2, just ahead of Bama. We're seeing quite a bit of movement as the teams race to qualify for Regionals. The RQS takes the top three AWAY scores and combines them with the next three highest HOME or AWAY scores, tosses out the HIGH, and AVERAGES the rest.
The Women's National Rankings this week shift to the Regional Qualifying Score (RQS), and OU remains on top, followed by Florida. Alabama takes the #3 spot. The RQS is calculated by taking a team's top three AWAY meet scores, their next three highest scores, tossing out the high and average the five remaining scores.
