2011-2012: Anderson to Bowling Green

CGA L10 Chelsea Anderson has verbally committed to Bowling Green, according to her club.  At the 2008 L10 Nationals, she placed 33rd AA.

2010-2011: Walters to Maryland

Ebony Walters has committed to Maryland, according to a site submission.  She's a L10 who trains at Apollo Gymnastics in Virginia.  At the 2009 L10 Nationals, she placed 11th AA and 6th(t) on VT in the Senior B division.  She was also 16th AA at the 2008 Region VII L10 Regionals.

Site Updated on November 1st: Reset Bookmarks

A series of unintended consequences took the site down today unexpectedly.  Now, you should find:

  • Improved stability of news feeds (though all are still not displaying correctly, including TWU and EMU)
  • New features in the Community, including group video and photo walls, plus photo tagging
  • A new contact form
  • RSS feeds of Today's News is available.  Go click on the RSS link in the News section, Latest News.
  • Small bug fixes

Please report any issues you may find, as this upgrade did not go smoothly.

Due to a software conflict, a change was made to the way the page URLs appear in your browser.  What this means in plain English is some URLs may have changed and you will need to update your bookmarks if you have have bookmarked specific pages in the site.

You may also need to clear your browser cache, as some locations within the site have changed.

2011-2012: Tutka to Utah

Rebecca "Becky" Tutka has committed to Utah, according to her family and her official website.  The Parkette is a former junior international elite who placed 9th(t) AA, 5th(t) FX and 9th(t) BB at the 2009 L10 Nationals, Junior D.  As a Junior C in 2008, she was 12th AA, 4th(t) on BB and 10th on FX.

Registration Requirement Dropped

By popular request, the site user registration requirement has been dropped for some areas of the site.  Guests will now notice newmenu choices, including the ability to search the Recruitables Database.

The Recruitables database now contains all the Junior Ds who qualified to the 2009 National meet.

Some features will remain exclusive to registered users, in order to prevent SPAM.

2011-2012: Carroll to Penn State

Alexis Carroll has committed to Penn State for 2011-2012, according to a site submission.  The Hill's trained athlete placed 7th(t) on UB and 17th AA at the 2009 L10 Nationals, Jr. C.  As a junior international elite in 2008, she placed 22nd AA at the VISA (US) Championships.

Twin City Twister L10 Lucy Meyer is headed to Stanford, according to her official recruiting website.  Meyer finished 8th AA and 6th(t) on VT at the 2009 L10 Nationals, Sr. A.  She also competed on the US team at the Maccabiah Games.  She also placed 42nd AA and 10th(t) on VT at the 2008 L10 Nationals.

According to Gymn.ca, Nicole Pineau has committed to Iowa.  The Canadian trains at Club Aviva in BC, where she competes National Open.  She has competed at the jr. high performance level in the past.  At the 2009 Canadian Championships, she placed 9th AA and 5th on FX in the National Open 16+ division.  At the 2008 Championships, she placed 6th AA, 2nd on FX, and 5th(t) on VT, in National Open 16+.

2011-2012: Harrison to Arkansas

Victoria Harrison has committed to Arkansas for 2011-2012, according to a site submission.  The L10 trains at Folger's Gymnastics in Kansas.  At the 2009 L10 Nationals, competing in the Junior D division, she placed 20th(t) AA and 5th(t) on FX.  As a Junior C at Nationals in 2008, she won the L10 National title on BB and placed 2nd on FX.  She also was 10th in the AA.

Whitcomb to UCLA

CGA elite Cassie Whitcomb has committed to UCLA, according to her club website.  She is set to graduate in 2011.  At the 2009 VISA (US) Championships, she placed 8th AA, 2nd on the UB and 5th on FX in the senior international division.  The US National Team member also placed 3rd AA, 2nd on UB and 7th on FX as a junior last year.
