Hayden Ward, L10 from Dynamo Gymnastics in Oklahoma, has committed to OU. She will graduate early to join the team next year. She finished 6th at JOs, Jr. D, in 2009.

This week's rankings for the Women from Troester GymInfo are now available. Alabama, by virtue of their NCAA leading high score over the weekend, takes over the top spot. OU remains at #2. Individually, Susan Jackson of LSU holds her lead in the AA. PSU's Brandi Personett is the top ranked vaulter, while UCLA's Anna Li is leading UB worker. OU's Holly Vise is the leader on BB, while UCLA's Elyse Hopfner Hibbs reigns on FX.

Stanford's Carly Janiga tied for 1st on two events to lead the Cardinal to victory. She tied on the UB with UCLA's Anna Li, both receiving 9.95. Li edged Janiga for the AA title, 39.575 to 39.55. Janiga tied with teammate Nicole Pechanec at 9.95 on FX. UCLA's Vanessa Zamarripa won two events, scoring a 9.95 to win VT and a near-perfect 9.975 to win BB.

Sarah Tomczyk won the VT and FX while tying ASU's Mary Atkinson for the AA title at 39.45. Atkinson also won the UB with a 9.95 while Arizona frosh Molly Quirk won the BB.

Michigan Defeated Penn State, 355.65 to 344.75 in action Sunday afternoon. Juniors Thomas Kelley (R, HB) and Chris Cameron (FX, AA) combined for three event titles and the AA to lead Michigan. The meet is scheduled for future broadcast on the Big 10 Network.

Bowling Green won their home opener over Northern Illinois, 192.625 to 190.9. BGSU's Breanne Guy won the BB and the AA with a 38.875 while frosh teammate Danielle Wishart won the VT and FX.

Nebraska posted a season high to defeat Michigan 196.025 to 194.725. Erin Davis led Nebraska, winning the VT and tying for first on the FX with teammate Lora Evenstad. Michigan's Kylee Botterman won the UB and the AA with a 39.35.

Illinois State won the quad meet with a 190.925, outpacing WMU's 190.525. In third was Air Force 185.15, with fourth being UW LaCrosse at 183.3. Hannah Deutsch led the Redbirds, winning the BB and FX. Teammate Erica Shick won the UB.

Towson won a quad meet at Ursinus with a 190.225, coming from behind to defeat Bridgeport (189.025), Temple (188.95) and Ursinus (180.95). Towson's Avis Hixon won the VT and tied for 1st on FX with Ursinus' Kira Oldham-Curtis, Temple's Corinne Williams, and teammate Alise McDonald. McDonald won the AA with a 38.425.
