AA winner is WMU's Dani Petrousek at 38.95

AU's Suni Lee won the BB with a 10 and took the AA at 39.75. For OU, Jordan Bowers won the VT with a 9.975.  Sooner frosh Faith Torrez tied for the FX title with Michigan's Sierra Brooks and UCLA's Chae Campbell.  On UB, Michigan's Natalie Wojcik tied for 1st with UCLA's Jordan Chiles at 9.975.  OU stayed consistent across the apparatus for the win, while Michigan came charging back strong after a slow start on BB.  It was in fact the BB where the Sooners clinched the victory, as the next highest team tally was AU's 49.15 to OU's 49.525.

Men's: Army 378.3 at PSU 402.9

PSU posted its best opening meet score since 2016.  Juniors Matt Cormier and Michael Jaroh led the Nittany Lions with three wins each with scores all 14.0 or higher.  Cormier won FX, VT and HB while Jaroh won PH, PB and tied for the Rings title with teammate Nathaniel Warren.

Arkansas 196.225 at Nebraska 195.0

New GymBack Norah Flatley, a grad transfer from UCLA, won UB and tied for the VT title with teammate Cami Weaver.  GymBack frosh Lauren Williams and redshirt frosh Frankie Price tied for the FX title with NU's Emma Spence. Spence also won the AA with a 39.325 over teammate Sophia McClelland, a transfer form BYU.  McClelland won the BB.

Landon Blixt led the Wolverines, winning FX en route to an 80.4 AA win.  His teammates took the remaining events:  Markus Shears on PH, Adam Wooten on R (14.5), David Wolma and Casey Cummings on VT, Lais Najjar on PB and Fred Richard on HB.  Greenville and Simpson made their debuts on the men's side, with Greenville's Kevin Laurino taking 3rd on PB.

Stanford's Chloe Widner won the AA with a career high 39.525, taking 1st on BB and FX in the process. Frosh teammate Anna Roberts won VT. UGA's Josie Angeny won UB.

LSU 196.725 at Utah 197.275

Utah was paced by wins by Grace McCallum on UB and Maile O'Keefe on BB. Frosh teammate Makenna Smith tied for 1st on VT with LSU's Haleigh Bryant.  Bryant also tied for the AA with teammate Aleah Finnegan at 39.45.  Finnegan took the FX title.

Gopher Mya Hooten won VT and tied for 1st on UB with teammate Tiarre Sales to lead her squad to a win in the Best of Minnesota meet. Gopher frosh Sarah Moraw won BB while teammate Halle Remlinger won FX.  Minnesota's Gianna Gerdes won the AA with a 39.025.

Florida posted a huge 197.75 to win the opening home quad meet.   Florida's Trinity Thomas posted the 1st 10 of the season to win BB. She also won VT and tied for 1st on UB with teammate Leanne Wong.   Both Thomas and Wong sat out the AA.  New Gator Rachel Baumann (from UGA) won FX while frosh Kayla DiCello won the AA with a 39.475.

Host Pitt won the Keystone Classic, winning bragging rights in the state of PA.  Pitt was led by Sidney Washington, who won VT and FX. Frosh teammate Reyna Garvey won the BB. Temple's Sarah Stallings won the UB while PSU frosh Ava Piedrahita won the AA with a 39.175.

MSU 196.55 at Alabama 196.975

Host Bama went 24 for 24 to hold off MSU.  Bama's Luisa Blanco won the AA with a big 39.575, the FX and tied for 1st on BB with MSU's Baleigh Garcia. Teammate Makkari Doggette won UB and tied for 1st on VT with MSU frosh Sage Kellerman and her teammate Gabrielle Stephen.

SUU frosh Trista Goodman won UB to lead the Flippin' Birds.  Washington's Skylar Killough-Wilhelm won the BB and the AA with a 39.325.  Teammate Amara Cunningham won the FX.  For Fisk, in the historic first meet for the new program at the HBCU, Morgan Price won the VT.

Randy Solorio will retire from his post as Head Coach at Sac State.  He's been HC since 2016 and was an assistant starting in 1986.  Prior to that, he was a gymnast at UC Davis before transferring down the Causeway to Sac St to complete his studies.  He has successfully recovered from liver cancer, first diagnosed in March 2020.

2024-5 Amy Doyle to MSU

Amy Doyle, Aspire, won her state and regional meets last season and placed 33rd AA at nationals.  She started this season with a win and sweep of the events at the All Fong Secret Santa Invite.
