Kendall Abney, Michigan Elite, won vault and placed 3rd AA at her '22 regional meet. She placed 21st AA at nationals. She recently competed the MEGA Magical Classic and placed 1st AA and 1st on bars in her session.
Former Illini standout Daniel Ribeiro has been named the Head Coach of the Illinois Men's program, after having served in an interim capacity since summer. He was previously the assistant for four years and associate Head Coach for the past seven years.

Delaney DeHaan, Tampa Bay Turners, placed 1st on floor and 4th AA at her '22 regional meet. She finished 45th AA at nationals.

Nyla Aquino, L9 at Elite Gymnastics Academy, won her '22 state meet and swept the events. She won her regional meet and placed 1st on vault, bars and floor. She placed 4th AA at the '22 Eastern Championships.

Defending champion Oklahoma tops the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association Preseason Coaches Poll. They just edged Florida with 1727 points and 22 first place votes to the Gator's 1724 points and 21 first place votes. Utah was 3rd (2 first place votes) and Michigan 4th (4 first place votes). Auburn rounded out the top 5.
Alana Walker, North Stars, finished 1st on vault and floor at her '22 regional meet. Although she qualified, she was unable to compete at nationals.
Abby Bednar, Everest Gymnastics, placed 6th AA at nationals this season.
