Marlee York from Arizona Dynamics has committed to George Washington. She is the 2018 Az state vault and floor champ. She finished 4th AA at regionals and 43rd AA at JOs.
TWU has added Alyssa Page from Gymnastix to its current roster.
Two early commits from MG Elite announced for UCLA this weekend. L10 Ariel Posen placed 1st on bars, beam and all around at her 2018 state meet. She also won bars and AA titles at regionals. She finished the season as JO national floor champ.
Jr. Elite Zoe Gravier place 11th AA at the 2018 American Classic and 20th AA at the GK US Classic. She was 15th AA at US Championships.

Olivia O'Donnell of from IK Gymnastics has committed to Illinois. Last season she qualified to regionals and placed 13th AA.
Maggie Lampsa from Legacy Elite has committed to Illinois. Last season she qualified to regionals and finished 17th AA.
Former NCAA champ and Michigan star Sam Mikulak won the bronze on High Bar to win his first every individual medal in major international competition. Epke Zonderland of the Netherlands won the Gold. Mikulak also placed 4th on the PB, which was won by Zou Jingyuan of China.
Florida commit Morgan Hurd won the silver on FX, with the USA's Simone Biles taking the gold. She also finished 3rd on BB (after some a major break on her barani and some other troubles). That was her 20th world championship medal, tying her for the most ever with Svetlana Khorkina. China's Liu Tingting won the gold, with Canadian Anne-Marie Padurariu in 2nd.
Alabama's Shallon Olsen won the silver medal for Canada on Vault at the event finals of the 2018 Doha World Gymnastics Championships. Simon Biles of the US won the Gold. OU's Yul Moldauer placed fourth on the FX while teammate and former Michigan star Sam Mikulak was 4th on PH and 7th on FX. Florida commit Morgan Hurd was 6th on UB, with teammate Simone Biles in 2nd. Belgium's Nina Derwael won the UB gold.
Cassie Clement from American Twisters will compete for Yale. She missed most of the 2018 competition season.
Rebecca Green from Classic Gymnastics has committed to Minnesota. Last season she placed 5th AA at her state meet and 4th AA at regionals. She placed 22nd AA at JOs.
Jenna Weitz from South Shore Gymnastics has committed to Towson. Last season she qualified to regionals and placed 12th AA.
Julia Waight from Phenom has committed to Illinois. Last season she finished 3rd AA at her state meet and 18th AA at regionals.
Austynn Lacasse from Gymnastics Express Too has committed to Maryland. She qualified to regionals last season and finished 13th AA.
Simone Biles fell on vault (sat down the Biles) and on BB but still won the Gold Medal at the World Championships, by a large margin. Japan's Mai Murakami edge Florida commit Morgan Hurd for the silver (Hurd fell on BB).

Russia's Artur Dalaloyan and China's Xiao Ruoteng tied for first place in a thrilling final, with Dalaloyan winning the tiebreaker to become the 2018 World AA Champion (Men's). Ex-Michigan star and former NCAA champion Sam Mikulak was in third heading into high bar, but problems on the event left him in fifth. A 13.425 would have secured him the bronze. a mark he easily exceeded in the prelims and men's team competition. OU's Yul Moldauer finished 12th AA.

The US Women overcame a few mistakes to easily win the team title at the 2018 Doha World Championships. Simone Biles, Kara Eaker, and Florida commits Morgan Hurd and Riley McCusker joined with Utah commit Grace McCallum to defeat Russia, 171.629 to 162.863.
