Florida easily defeated host WVU 195.9 to 194.425, led by junior Alicia Boren. Boren posted the highest ever opening meet AA score for a Gator, a 39.575, to win the event. She also won the FX and tied with Gators Rachel Gowey and frosh Alyssa Baumann for the BB title. Teammate Alex McMurtry won the VT and UB. The Gators got off to a slow start when senior Kennedy Baker could not finish her UB routine due to leg cramps. Later, they counted a major miss on FX.

Sidney Dukes won FX and teammate Alex Hyland won BB to lead the Wildcats to the win. Teammates Danaea Davis and Mollie Korth tied for the VT title, while UK's Cori Rechenmacher shared the UB title with Ball State's Maddie McDonald. GWU's Cami Drouin-Allaire won the AA with a 39.1.

Tori Loomis of Texas Dreams has committed to Utah State. Last season her 8th place finish at regionals qualified her to JOs where she finished 18th AA.

In each Preview, we've summarized the team's returning routines, their missing routines, the returning starters and the rest of their roster, including their newcomers. We'll also give a brief overview preview of each squad.
Jordyn Jaslow of CGI in Colorado has committed to ASU. She is the 2017 state floor champ for her division. She placed 3rd AA and 1st on beam at regionals and 22nd AA at JOs.
Makenzie Sedlacek of IGI has committed to Arkansas. She competed the early part of the 2017 season, finishing 4th AA at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational.
We're about to start the 2018 season, and it's time for us to release our annual Ranking of Recruiting Classes for the frosh starting during the 2017-2018 school year. Why do we wait for so long? We wait until just prior to the season to release this ranking because the recruiting calendar now extends year round, and we're seeing an increasing number of teams get mid-year additions and have roster changes throughout the preseason.
Summer Alpaugh from Hanover Gymnastics will compete for Ursinus. Last season she finished 19th AA at her state meet and qualified to regionals.
Skylar Manning from Capital Gymnastics has committed to UW-Oshkosh.
Brashlyn Johnson from Thomas Gymnastics committed to West Chester University. Last season she placed 3rd AA at her state meet and her 7th place finish at regionals qualified her to JO Nationals where she finished 24th on floor exercise.
Sophia McClelland from Paramount Elite has committed to BYU. Last season she placed 2nd AA at her SoCal meet. She placed 12th AA at regionals.
Amy Stewart from Uzelac Gymnastics has committed to Towson. Her 6th place regional finish qualified her to the 2017 JOs where she placed 34th AA.
