McKenna Appleton has committed to UNC. She is a Level 10 from Hill's in Maryland. She placed 5th AA at her 2017 state meet. At regionals she earned the beam title and placed 2nd AA. She was 22nd AA at JOs.
Brooke Jacobi of Parkettes Gymnastics has committed to Springfield College. She competed three events at her 2017 state meet. In 2016 she qualified to regionals.
Alex Britz of Auburn Gynastics has committed to Alaska. She placed 7th AA at her 2017 state meet and 5th AA at regionals. She was 43rd AA at JOs.
Madison Benson of Metroplex has committed to NCSU. She placed 9thAA at regionals and 40th AA at JOs in the 2017 season.

Skyla Schulte of Phenom Gymnastics has committed to MSU. She placed 7th AA at both her 2017 state and regional meets. She was 45th AA at JOs.
Josh Nilson has been named Assistant Coach according to a USAF Gymnastics tweet. An official announcement has not been posted on their web page yet. Nilson was briefly named Head Coach at EMU. His coaching credentials including stints at PSU and USU.

On September 11th, 2001, newly hired UCSB (California Santa Barbara) Head Coach Mari-Rae Sopper, a former standout at Iowa State, lost her life during the tragic events of that fateful day. Naomi Morrison of Arizona Dynamics has committed to OSU. She was 1st on vault and 3rd AA at her 2017 state meet. She was 1st on vault and 2nd AA at regionals. She finished 12th AA at JOs.
