Illinois has signed three gymnasts for 2016-2017: Rae Balthazor, Lindsay Dwyer and Karen Howell. The commits of Balthazor and Howell were covered in prior news items.
Dwyer trains at GMGC in New York. In 2015, she placed 37th AA at the L10 JO Nationals, after winning the Region VI AA title (and tying for the UB and FX titles). She was 34th AA at JO Nationals in 2014.

OU's Men's Program has anounced the signing of Tanner Justus (brother of Sooner Hunter) and Matt Wenske, both members of the US Junior National Team.
Justus and Wenske tied for 3rd AA at the 2015 P&G (US) Championships. Justus, a gymnast from Cypress, also won VT and placed 4th on FX and tied for 5th on PB. He was 8th AA at the 2015 JO Nationals and is a two-time JO National champ on VT.
Weske also trains at Cypress. He won the PB title at the P&G Championships while tying for 3rd on FX and Rings. He won the AA title at the 2015 JO Nationals, and also won national titles on FX and PB. He was 8th AA at the 2014 P&G Championships and runnerup at the 2014 JO Nationals. He is a three time JO National champ on the FX (2013, 2014, 2015).

Cal's Men's program will welcome Kyte Crigger, Anton Vorona and Jonathan Wang for 2016-2017.
Crigger trains at Apollo Gymnastics and was the 2015 JO National Champ on FX. He also finished 2nd AA at the meet.
Vorona placed 11th AA at the 2015 P&G (US) Championships. He trains at TAG and is a five-time state AA champ.
Wang, from the New England Sports Academy, was 4th on Rings at the 2014 JO Nationals. He also finished 18th AA in 2013.

Utah has signed Missy Reinstadtler and Kim Tessen, as expected. The pair are expected to join up next fall with MyKayla Skinner, who signed last year but deferred.

Wildfire Gymnastics has announced that their L10 gymnast, Nicoletta Koulos has accepted a scholarship offer from UCLA. She placed 1st on vault and floor and 1st AA at last season's SoCal Meet. She was 3rd AA at regionals and 9th AA at JOs.
Nevaeh DeSouza, L10 at Dream Xtreme Gymnastics, has committed to Cal. Last season she placed 3rd AA at the NorCal meet, 2nd AA at regionals and 12th AA at JOs.
Hailey Haycox, L10 at Gymstrada, has committed to William and Mary. She was the regional floor champ in 2014. Her 2015 season ended at her state meet where she competed three events.
