MacKenzie Barile, L10 at Desert Lights Gymnastics, has committed to Arizona. Last season she placed 3rd AA at her state meet, 9th AA at regionals and 10th AA at the NIT.
Hannah Baddick, L10 at Frederick Gymnastics, has committed to New Hampshire. She placed 6th AA at her 2015 state meet and qualified through regionals to the NIT and a 15th place AA finish.
Savannah Kooyman, L10 at Precision Gymnastics, has committed to UCLA. Last seson she placed 6th AA at the SoCal meet, 13th AA at regionals and 8th AA at the NIT.
Natalie Horowitz, L10 from Tim Daggett Gymnastics, has committed to Iowa State. She placed 7th AA at her state meet and 15th AA at regionals last season. In 2014 she qualified to JOs.
Anna McGee, L10 at Georgia Elite, has committed to Missouri. Last season she placed 3rd AA at her state meet and qualified to regionals. In 2014 she qualified to the NIT and she also competed at the Secret Classic.
Michigan has signed five athletes for 2016-2017: Mitchell Brown, Mikey Brewer, Socrates Gavallas, Thomas Paul and Connor Welch.
Brown trains at DeVeau's in Indiana. At the 2015 P&G Championships, he placed 3rd on VT and 4th on PH. He was also 2nd on HB, 3rd on PH, 8th on PB and 13th AA at the 2015 JO Nationals (JE 16). He was also 9th AA in at the 2014 JO Nationals.
Brewer trains with Gavallas at Monmouth in NJ.
Gavallas placed 21st at the 2015 JO Nationals in the AA (JE 16), as well as 5th on HB and 7th on PH.
Paul trains at the West Virginia Gymnastics Training Center and was the first WV gymnast to qualify to JO Nationals. In 2015, he placed 20th AA in the L10 Age 16 division.
Welch trains at Midwest Gymnastics. He placed 11th AA at the 2015 Ohio Boys State meet.

Cairo Leonard Baker, a L10 from Head over Heels, has committed to ASU. At the 2015 NorCal State Meet, she won the VT, FX (t) and AA and was 2nd on UB and BB. In 2014, she placed 45th at the Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals, after winning 1st AA in Region 1.

Nebraska welcomes three members of its 2016-2017 class: Alexa Clark, Sierra Hassel, and Taylor Houchin. The commits of Hassel and Houchin were covered in prior news items.
Clark is a L10 from the Colorado Gymnastics Institute. At the 2015 Region III L10 Regionals, she finished 31st AA. She also tied for 15th AA in 2014. Link: Videos

Head Over Heels Gymnastics has announced Frida Esparza's commitment to UCLA. Last season she placed 1st on beam and 1st in the all around at her state meet. She placed 5th AA at regionals and she won the bars title at JOs.
Defending champion OU is the preseason #1 in the Men's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (CGA) Preseason Poll. They will seek their 10th national title this spring.
Illinois State has signed Gabrielle Cooke, Anna Marema, Jessica Rothman and Madison Solka to NLIs for 2016-2017. The commits of Cooke, Marema and Rothman were covered in prior news items.
Solka is a L10 from Crystal Lake in Illinois. In 2015, she qualified to the Region V L10 Regionals, where she tied for 23rd AA. As a Level 9 in 2014, she was 4th AA, 1st on BB, 1st on FX and 7th on VT at the L9 Eastern Nationals. Link: Videos

The Iowa Men's team has signed Andrew Herrador, Nicholas Merryman and Mitchell Mandozzi for 2016-2017.
Herrador hails from Sunnyvale where he trains at the West Coast Olympic Gymnastics Academy. At the 2015 P&G (US) Championships, he tied for 4th on HB in the Jr 15-16 category. He placed 24th AA. He was also 10th AA and 1st on HB at the 2015 JO Nationals (JE 16) Link: Videos
Merryman is a two-time National team member from the New England Academy of Gymnastics. At the 2015 P&G Championships, he won the PH in the Jr. 15-16 category. In 2014, he was 2nd on PH, 3rd on PB and 6th AA at the JO Nationals. Link: Videos

Arkansas has annouced the signing of Jessica Yamzon:
The Minnesota Men have signed Timmy Kutyla for 2016-2017. He trains at the US Gymnastics Development Center II in New Jersey. At the 2015 P&G (US) Championships, he was 14th AA. Competing in Poland, he won National Titles on the the HB and Rings.
