OU ended the season #1 on VT. Florida ended as the top team on UB and BB while LSU was the top team on FX.
LSU's Kailin Chio ended the regular season as #1 in the AA at 39.795. She was also the top gymnast on VT and BB. Bama's Chloe LaCoursiere was the top UB worker while UCLA's Jordan Chiles ended the year as #1 on FX.
The most significant movement in the last weekend of competition was from Kentucky, moving up to #16. As a Regional host, they will anchor a quartet of the Top 16 Seeds to their Regional location. Teams in the Top 16 are assigned in quartets as follows: 1-8-9-16, 2-7-10-15, 3-6-11-14, and 4-5-12-13.
That means we have the following quartets:
OU-Missouri-Arkansas-Kentucky at Kentucky
LSU-Florida-Michigan-Clemson at LSU
Florida-Georgia-MSU-Cal
UCLA-Bama-Utah-Minnesota
The last two sites are ASU and Oregon State. It is likely that #3 Florida and the rest of the quartet will be selected to Tempe, based on geographical proximity. The rest of the field is distributed based on geographical proximity, with an eye to avoid, if possible, conference rematches. The criteria is explained in the linked document (page 21)
