Sarah Peterson, L10 from Mid Island Gymnastics in New York, has verbally committed to UNC. She finished 1st AA (1st UB/FX at the Long Island Classic this season. She finished 19th AA at the 2010 NIT.
Kayla Hoffman has been named winner of this year's Honda Award for Gymnastics according to a news article. The other finalists for the award were Kylee Botterman, Brittani McCullough and Sharaya Musser.
Natalie Humbert, L10 at LaFleur's in Florida, has accepted an offer of admission to Centenary. She will join the gymnastics team next season. Last year, Humbert captured the L9 state vault title on the way to a 3rd place overall finish and went on to place 8th AA at regionals.
Jillian Chappel, L10 at Ace in Florida, has committed to Kentucky for the 2012-13 season. This season she finished 4th AA at her State Meet and 4th AA at Regionals.

Shannon Escarra, Newnan School of Gymnastics in Georgia, Level 10 - competed this season in the Atlanta Crown (8th AA), the Metroplex Challenge (12th AA) and the Tiger Paw (6th AA). Video
Cara Lord, Berks East Gymnastics in Pennsylvania, Level 10 - finished 6th AA at the 2011 Pa. State Meet and 16th AA at Regionals.
Amanda Willingham, Ruidoso Gymnastics in New Mexico, Level 9 -finished 4th AA at the New Mexico State Meet and 13th AA at Regionals. VideoKikiParenteau, L10 at Flips in Minnesota, has verbally committed to Southern Utah according to her club's website. Highlights of her 2011 season include a 3rd place AA finish at the Rising Stars meet, 4th AA at the Winter Challenge and 6th AA at the Lady Luck meet. She recently finished 7th AA at her state meet and 6th AA at regionals.
Arizona has announced that it has signed Canadian National Team Member Kristin Klarenbach for the 2011-12 season. Klarenbach, who competes for Champions Gymnastics in Edmonton, brings national and international experience in World Cup events, the Commonwealth Games and Canadian Championships. She recently finished 13th AA (2nd V; 4th BB; 5th FX) at the Wild Rose.
Brittany Webster, L10 from KGDC Twisters in Kansas, has signed with Auburn per her local newspaper. Webster has posted strong results this season, including 2nd AA (1st V/FX) at the Folgers Invite; 4th AA at the Metroplex, 2nd AA at the Gliders Invite, and 5th AA at WOGA. She recently placed 2nd AA in both her state and regional meets. Last season she placed 23rd AA at JO Nationals.
The Honda Award nominations recognize outstanding athletes for their athletic skills, academic performance, leadership skills and community service. The Honda Award Winners in 12 NCAA sports are eligible for the Honda-Broderick Cup, which honors the collegiate female athlete of the year. This year's nominees in gymnastics are:
