Defending champion Bridgeport and SPU advanced from Session I of the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships. Monica Mesalles led Bridgeport, posting the session's highest AA tally. She also had the high mark on VT and FX while tying for the highest mark on BB with teammate Emily Repko and SPU's Anissa Madrid. Madrid posted the highest score of the sesson on UB.

Cal State Fullerton has officially announced the termination of its Women's Gymnastics program. The program was unable to meet its funding commitments by the March 1st deadline imposed by the university. Wrestling was also cut. The storied program was the 1979 AIAW National Team Champion. (The AIAW was the predecessor to the NCAA for women). Fullerton also came in 2nd twice (2 AIAW, 1 NCAA) and 3rd five times (3 AIAW, 2 NCAA). They also won 10 conference titles and nine regional titles.

The regular season is now over, and the Troester.com GymInfo National rankings are based on final National Qualifying Score (NQS). The NQS is the sum of the team's Regional Qualifying System (RQS) and their score at Regionals.
Alabama tops the final Top 25 NQS ranking, with UCLA in 2nd. OU is now third and Oregon State fourth. Florida dropped to fifth after their Regional performance.
Rhode Island College announced that the Women's Gymnastics program would be terminated immediately, on March 30th, 2011. Golf and swimming will be added in its place. They are asking for your support in protesting this move.

Linda Burdette-Good has announced her retirement after 37 years at WVU. Her teams qualified three times to the NCAA Nationals.

Stanford defeated top ranked OU for the title, posting a 362.25 to OU's 360.7. Cal was third with a 356.05, while NU was fourth with a 356.05. Host Air Force netted a 344.8.
OU's Jake Dalton won the VT (16.65), PB and AA (90.9). He also tied for the FX title with teammate Steven Legendre.

UIC won the ECAC title, posting a season-high 346.9. Temple was 2nd with a 388.3, W&M 3rd with a 336.5, Springfield 4th with a 333.2, Navy in 5th with a 326.7 and Army in 6th with a 324.3.
The AA winner was UIC's Kyle Voissem.

In DU, #1 Florida struggled on BB, their final event, to leave the door open for Arkansas and Boise State. Arkansas stayed steady on UB for the win, their second over UF this season. On the last event, Boise State ended just short of upsetting UF, with a few uncharacteristic wobbles late in the lineup that proved to be the 0.025 difference. Advancing as individual AAers are Boise State's Amy Glass and DU's Brianna Springer. Also advancing as individuals on BB are Bekah Gher of Boise State and Jorie Hall of DU.

Bama and Illinois advanced out of the Tuscaloosa Regional. Bama cruised to a 197.275. Illinois hit a 49.075 on the BB to edge PSU, 195.925 to 195.8, as the last round of competition once again determined the outcome. Two individuals advanced: Sharaya Musser of PSU and Kylie Shields of AU.

Oregon State posted a 197.025 to advance to the National meet. The hosts defeated 2nd place NU's 196.55. In the rest of the field, MSU posted a solid effort to take third in 194.5. The top two AAers not on an advancing team are Iowa's Rebecca Simbhudas and Houry Gebeshian. In addition, Katie Valleau of San Jose St advanced on FX.
