Auburn Regional: Alabama, Auburn Advance

Alabama posted a 197.575 to defeat Auburn's 196.9 as both seeds easily advanced to the National meet.  Alabama's Lauren Beers tied with Minnesota's Lindsay Mable for the AA title.  Maryland was well back in 3rd at 195.15, edging Minnesota's 195.025 (big problems on UB).  Iowa was in fifth at 194.675 and GWU posted a 194.15 for 6th. 

Mable and Beers tied for the FX title with Bama's Carley Sims.  Mable tied with Bama's Mackenzie Brannan for the VT title while Beers won the BB title.  Bama's Kaitlyn Clark won the UB title.

GWU's Cami Drouin-Allaire grabbed the other available AA slot for Nationals.

Samantha Peszek and Christine "Peng Peng" Lee powered UCLA to a big win over Michigan, 197.5 to 197.  Peszek won the AA with a 39.675.  She took the FX and tied for the BB title with Lee and teammate Danusia Francis.  Lee won the UB and tied for the VT title with Michigan's Sachi Sugiyama.

CMU posted a 195.925 to edge Arizona's 195.8 for 3rd.  The host Buckeyes posted a 195.65, and Kentucky was not far behind with a 195.45 for sixth. 

Qualifying as individuals in the AA were a pair of frosh: Ohio State's Taylor Harrison and Kentucky's Sydney Waltz.

Oklahoma easily won the Norman Regional, as expected, posting a 197.625.  Oregon State pulled away from the field on FX and VT to take the second slot. 
Oregon State's Madeline Gardiner won the AA with a 39.4. 

SUU posted a 196.275 to lead the chase pack.  Missouri was close behind at 196.1, and NC State followed at 195.775.  PSU finished 6th after big mistakes on their first event. 

NC State's Brittni Watkins and Michaela Woodford qualifed to Nationals as individual AAers. 

SUU's Jamie Armijo won the UB to qualify to Nationals.  Teammate Ana Jaworski tied for the BB title with OU's Haley Sorensen, and will also travel to Nationals. 

OU's Ali Jackson won the VT while teammate Haley Scaman won the FX.

Ames Regional: LSU and Nebraska Advance

LSU posted a 197.175 to hold off Nebraska's 196.95 as both squads cruised through and qualified to Nationals.  LSU's Jessie Jordan won the AA with a 39.575.  She also won the BB and tied for the FX title with NU's Hollile Blanske.   

DU led the rest of the field with a 195.95.  MSU edged Iowa State 195.375 to 195.35, while Washington struggled to a 193.675. 

DU's Nina McGee and Iowa State's Caitlin Brown qualified to Nationals as AAers.  McGee also tied for the UB title with LSU's Rheagan Courville.  Nebraska's Jessie DeZiel won the VT.

Morgantown: Florida, Stanford Advance

Florida posted a 197.475 to win the Morgantown Regional, led by Bridget Sloan's 39.8 AA win. Stanford powered to a 197 to outpace Illinois (196.675) and Arkansas (196.5).  Host WVU was fifth at 195.65 and UNH posted a 194.825. 

Illini Giana O'Connor and Mary Jane Horth grabbed the two individual qualifying spots in the AA (top 2 not on a qualifying team). 

Sloan won vault and tied for the UB and FX titles.  She tied on FX with teammate Kytra Hunter.  Illini Sunny Kato tied for the UB title to grab an individual slot at Nationals.  Stanford's Ivana Hong captured the BB title.

Men's: OU Wins MPSF

Oklahoma won the MPSF Conference Title, posting a 447.4 to easily defeat runner-up Stanford.  The Cardinal posted a 437.15 while Cal took third at 432.7.  Host Air Force was fourth at 425.15.  Stanford's Akash Modi won the AA with a 90.4.

NCGA Div III Nationals: Event Finals

Katie Fiorilli won the VT and tied for the UB title to lead all gymnasts at the Event Finals at the NCGA Championships (Div III Nationals).  She tied on UB with UW La Crosse's Amy Enright and Samantha Wiekamp, and Cortland State's Maddy Scozzie. 

Springfield's Abby Clark won BB and UW Stout's Kaylee Jondahl won the FX.

UW La Cross Wins NCGA National Title

Wisconsin-La Crosse held on to win the NCGA (Div III) National Team Title on Friday night.  They posted a 191.525 to take the win.  Just 0.3 back were Ursinus and UW Whitewater, who tied at 191.225.  Just a bit back further was Brockport State at 190.95, in a close finish.  SUNY Cortland posted a 187.975 for fifth, while UW Stout was 6th at 187.85. 

UW Whitewater's Katie Fiorilli won the AA with a 38.475, just ahead of teammate Courtney Pickett, who posted a 38.4.  UW-La Crosse's Amy Enright was third at 38.25.

Men's: PSU Wins Big 10 Championships

PSU edged Illinois 436.7 to 436.1, to win the Big 10 Championships.  Michigan was third at 434.75.  Minnesota was just behind with 433.75 for fourth.  In fifth was Ohio State at 429.35, while Iowa was sixth at 427.6.  Nebraska finished 7th with a 420.1. 

PSU's Matthew Felleman was the top AAer with an 87.2, just 0.1 ahead of Illinois' Bobby Baker and .15 ahead of Illini CJ Maestas.

Men's: Army Wins ECAC Championships

Army won the ECAC Championships on Friday, posting a 422.05 to defeat runnerup Navy (415.3).  W&M was third at 410.9, with UIC fourth at 409.35.  Springfield was fifth with a 406 and Temple posted a 403.9. 

Army junior Jesse Glenn won the AA with an 86.05.

Temple Dismisses Murphy

Temple has dismissed Head Coach Aaron Murphy after an investigation and mid-season suspension.  Assistant Deirdre Mattocks Bertotti, who took over coaching duties at mid-season, will not have her contract renewed.  A new coaching staff will be brought on for 2015-2016.
