Florida frosh Alex McMurtry stuck her double layout off UB and was awarded a 9.95, lifting the Gators above the Utah Utes, who already finished. Utah entered the final rotation 0.15 behind Florida but proceeded to drill their vaults to a 49.55 team total.  Florida experienced a series of landing errors (hops, steps and large steps) until McMutry's score lifted the Gators to their three-peat. 

 The Gators finished with a 197.85 to Utah's 197.8.  OU, after struggling a bit with landings on FX in their first event, posted a 197.525 for third.  Bama hit for a 197.275 to edge Stanford.  Bama was steady throughout, except for counting a large wobble on BB.  Stanford overcame a slow start on FX (sub 49) to place 5th at 197.25.  Auburn had issues on BB and FX to end at 195.625. 

Individually, Utah's Georgia Dabritz posted the meet's highest marks on VT (9.975) and FX.  UF's Kytra Hunter hit for a 9.975 on FX.  Stanford's Ivana Hong posted the highest BB total at 9.975.  Dabritz amassed a 39.7 in the AA to edge Stanford's Elizabeth Price, who hit a 39.675 in her debut.
