Michigan's Sam Mikulak won the AA title by three points at the P&G (US) Championships on Sunday. Former OU Sooner Alex Naddour was 2nd, while former OU star Jake Dalton was third. Olympian John Orozco rose to 4th after a rough Day 1.

In the Junior Division, Dmitri Belanovski won the Junior 17-18 division. Incoming Ohio State Andrew Rickly was 2nd, with Illini frosh Matt Foster in 3rd. Hunter Justus won the 15-16 Age Group. Seven juniors competed in the Men's senior division.

Simon Biles won the senior women's title at the P&G (US) Championships. Olympian Kyla Ross was 2nd. OU commit Brenna Dowell was 3rd, with UF commit Peyton Ernst in fourth. Maggie Nichols was fifth and Utah commit Mckayla Skinner was 6th.

Although the US did not send gymnastics teams, a number of NCAAers competed at the World University Games this past week. UCLA's Danusia Francis made the floor final and placed 6th.

Oregon State has announced the addition of Brian Amato to the coaching staff. Amato comes to OSU from Brandy Johnson's gymnastics in Florida.
Dave Kuzara served as Michigan's assistant coach in the past. Now he returns with a wealth of experience gained from his coaching positions in other NCAA programs.
Former Olympian Brett McClure has accepted the head coaching position for Berkeley's men's team.
Ball State Head Coach Nadalie Walsh has been named the new Head Coach at Utah State. She comes to the Aggies after six seasons at Ball State and three seasons at UW Oshkosh, both as Head Coach. USU did not renew the contract of Jeff Richards in April.

Illinois has announced Chad Wiest as their new assistant coach. Wiest was an athlete on the Illinois men's team and he coached for Bowling Green.
Gustavus Adoplphus has announced Charles Aydt as its new head coach.
Head Coach Shannon Welker has announced the addition of John Carney and Casey Jo Magee to the coaching staff.
Jen Kesler, former OSU standout, has accepted the position of Head Coach at Lindenwood. Kesler held the position of Assistant Coach last season, but essentially served as the interim head coach throughout the season after the head coach left the program.
