The battle for fourth got very interesting. Ute MyKayla Skinner had one of her best meets ever to take 4th at 56.698 while Ute signee Grace McCallum was 0.1 behind in 5th. Onther 0.2 behind was Florida commit Kayla DiCello, while Ute signee Kara Eaker was a bit ways back in 7th with a 55.565.
Here are the remaining places:
8. Shilese Jones (Florida commit) 54.999
9. Emma Malabuyo (UCLA) 54.832
10. Leanne Wong (UF) 53.799
11(t) Emily Lee (UCLA) 53.399
11(t) Addison Fatta 53.399
13. Amari Drayton 53.099
14. Jade Carey (Oregon State) 52.899
15. Zoe Miller 52.465
16. Ava Ziegfeldt (OU commit) 51.565
Florida signee Riley McCusker posted a 14.8 for 2nd on UB in her only event. If the top two hold their places, the tightest race is with those gymnasts that can post the best combined scores on VT and FX. Those are Skinner, McCallum, DiCello and Wong. Chiles is a wildcard: she can move up and secure slot but a miss could cause two gymnasts to pass her. Hitting again on Sunday will be critical.
