The US Men finished fifth at the World Championships, just behind Italy. China rebounded from a rough prelim session to take the win in an error plagued final. Japan was 2nd and Great Britain far behind in third. The US Men were led by Stanford frosh Asher Hong and fifth year senior Brody Malone, plus junior Colt Walker. Former PSU star Stephen Nedoroscik contributed on Pommels.
