Second up, Arkansas' Katherine Grable drilled a round-off half on to pike front half off to a 9.975. Later, in the second group, Courville stuck a Yurchenko layout full. OU's Haley Scaman did her version of the Yurchenko Layout Full for third, also stuck but slighly less dynamic.
Bars
Bridget Sloan hit her Ray release and double layout to near-perfection for the win. Samantha Shapiro of Stanford showed similarly beautiful toe point and precision, but had a slight pike down on her double layout dismount. Teammate Kristina Vaculik also showed beautiful lines for third, and also had shape issues on her double layout.
Beam
OU's Taylor Spears ended the beam competition with the win, smoothly hitting her difficult Onodi to Korbut combination. Just a shade behind was Lindsey Cheek of Georgia, showing beautiful lines throughout. However, she lacked a bit of amplitude on her switch split and slightly piked down her gainer layout full. Three gymnasts tied at 9.8875. Madeline Gardner of Oregon State went very early and had a small shuffle on her dismount. UGA's Mary Beth Box showed confidence and precision while LSU's Sydney Ewing showed a powerful backhandspring layout to two feet. NU's Jamie Schleppenbach nailed her two switch splits, as the four ended in a tie. All three had small checks or form issues that held them back from the top.
Floor
Arkansas' senior Katherine Grable hit her Arabian in front tuck 1/2 out mount to pick up another title. Her two titles were Arkansas' first ever. Three gymnasts tied for second: Joanna Sampson of Michigan, Haley Scaman of OU and Maile'Ana Kanewa of OU. Sampson showed the evening's best double layout and best double pike dismount, but showed a slight foot separation on the landing of her leap series. Scaman hit another great double layout as well but had a deduction on her jump serie. Teammate Kanewa stuck (no lunge) her pike full-in and double pike dismount, but her second pass lacked amplitude.
