NCAA Session 1: Florida, LSU and UGA Advance

It was an SEC sweep as Florida, LSU and UGA advanced to the Super Six Finals from today's Session 1 Preliminary round.  UF tallied a 197.475 to edge LSU's 197.3375.  UGA was safely in third at 196.725.  Stanford was well back at 195.575, ahead of AU at 195.1 and Minnesota trailing at 194.9875.  All three squads advancing did not count a fall.

Florida's Bridget Sloan was the top AAer in Session 1, posting a 39.7.  She also had the top score on BB and is tied for the top spot on UB (with UGA's Brittany Rogers).  UGA's Brandie Jay was the top vaulter, while LSU's Myia Hambrick had the top score on FX.  With several of the top individuals in the first session, we'll see how the scores hold up after Session 2, as National titles will be decided on Day 1.
