2022-23 Sage Kellerman to MSU

Sage Kellerman, All American Flames, has committed to MSU.  She was a 2019 regional qualifier and she sat out the 2020 season.  This season she is showing particular strength on vault and floor.

Emma Lavelle from North Shore Gymnastics placed 2nd AA at the North Shore Classic and 3rd AA at the Sand Dollar Invitational this season.  Mylia Vidtor was a regional qualifier in 2019.  She placed 2nd AA at the 2020 Denver Winterfest.

2021-22 Bella Miller to UNC

Bella Miller, American Twisters, has committed to UNC.  Her 2021 results point to a solid bars worker for UNC.

2021-22 Alyssa Ojeda to Missouri

Alyssa Ojeda from Dynamo has committed to Missouri.  She was a 2019 JO qualifier.  Her 2021 stats reveal that she can be a strong floor worker for Mizzou, having placed no lower than 2nd on that event this seasond.  She recently finished 1st on bars and 2nd AA at her state meet.

The USA Gymnastics Collegiate Nationals concluded with event finals on Sunday.  Maddie Gose of TWU won the VT while Centenary's Taylor Ann Wilson won the UB.  SEMO's Anna Kaziska prevailed on BB while TWU's Isabel Goyco won the FX.

2022-23 Ciena Alipio to UCLA

Ciena Alipi, an elite National Team member from Midwest Gymnastics Center, has committed to UCLA.  In 2019 she finished 1st AA and 1st on bars at the American Classic.  She earned 2nd place beam finishes at the 2019 American Classic, US Classic and US Nationals.  She recently finished 6th AA at the 2021 Winter Cup.

SEMO posted a 49.375 on BB in the last rotation to slip past Lindenwood and win the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National championships.  They posted a 195.025 to Lindenwood's 194.875.  Air Force was 3rd at 194.4, with TWU 4th at 193.7.  Centenary completed the field at 190.875. 

SEMO's Dahlia Solorzano-Caruso won the AA title with a 39.225.

The NCAA has formally announced the full set of qualifiers for the NCAA Championships.  These include the top two teams from each Regional plus the top AAer and individual event in each Regional from a non-advancing team (after a tiebreaker).

Michigan posted a 411.0 to win the Big Ten Championship in a wire-to-wire victory.  Nebraska posted a 398 to edge Iowa's 397.7.  Illinois was 4th at 396.9, just ahead of PSU at 396.8.   Minnesota was 6th at 395.95 and Ohio State completed the field at 394.9.  

Wolverine senior Cameron Bock tied for the AA title with Minnesota's Shane Wiskus at 84.7.  Bock also won the PH and SR to lead Michigan.  Wiskus won the FX, PB and HB for the Gophers.  Illini Michael Fletcher won the VT.

UW Whitewater celebrated Senior Night and wrapped up its season with a win over Oshkosh.  Whitewater's Blaise Wilson won BB and the AA with a 38.175.  Teammate Meg McGinley tied for first on VT with Oshkosh's Radhea Jarvis and also tied for first on FX with Oshkosh's Olivia Keller.  Oshkosh's Emily Buffington won the UB.

In a thrilling finish, Utah held onto a lead in the final round to win the Salt Lake City Regional and win a spot at Nationals.  The other three squads were neck and neck heading into the final round, with Kentucky just 0.025 ahead of LSU, and 0.175 ahead of ASU.  ASU finished first with a 49.525 on UB, while Kentucky had a few problems early in their FX lineup.  LSU proceeded to hit their opening BB routines, but a fall in the fifth spot put the pressure on anchor Raegan Campbell to deliver and secure the second spot at Nationals, which she did.  

Maile O'Keefe led Utah with a tie for first on three events. She tied on UB with ASU's Cairo Leonard Baker and UK's Raina Worley.   O'Keefe also tied for 1st on BB with teammates Cristal Isa and Abby Paulson, Worley and UK's Josie Angeny plus LSU's Sami Durante.  On FX, O'Keefe tied with teammate Sydney Soloski and LSU's Kiya Johnson.  On VT, LSU's Haleigh Bryant won with a 10.

OU posted a big 198.175 to win the Tuscaloosa Regional and advance to the National meet.  Alabama secured the 2nd spot at 197.575.  Arkansas posted a 196.7 to stay ahead of Missouri's 196.55.  For the Sooners, Olivia Trautman won VT with a 10 and teammate Anastasia Webb won BB and the AA (39.7). Bama's Shania Adams won UB while teammate Luisa Blanco won FX.

Michigan tied its program record at 198.1 to win the Morgantown Regional and claim a spot at Nationals.  Cal was not far behind at 197.75 and claimed the second spot.  UCLA was third at 197.275 with Ohio State posting a 195.625.  Michigan's Sierra Brooks won the AA (39.75), BB and tied for 1st on VT with teammate Naomi Morrison. Teammate Natalie Wojcik won UB.  Wolverine Gabby Wilson and Cal's Kyana George tied for first on the FX.

Men's: OU Wins MPSF Championship

OU posted a 412.75 to best Stanford's 411.55 and claim it's ninth straight MPSF Championship title.  Air Force was third at 388.35 with Cal 4th at 386.95.  OU was paced by wins from Morgan Seyler on FX and Gage Dyer on FX.  Stanford's Brody Malone won HB and took the AA with an 83.05.  Cardinal Ian Gunther won PH and R.  Stanford teammate Blake Sun took the PB.

Men's: Navy Claims ECAC Conference Title

Navy claimed the ECAC Conference title, posting a 397.8.  W&M was second at 392.1, with Army third at 388.05.  Springfield completed the field at 381.75.   Navy was led by wins from David Toussaint on FX, Jake Carlson on R, Travis Keller on VT, Giovanni Gambatese on HB and Ryan McVay in the AA (79.2).  Army's Matthew Martin won the PH and W&M's Andrew Lyubovsky won the PB.

Florida posted a 197.7 to win the Athens Regional and advance to the NCAA Nationals.  Minnesota posted a 197.425 to place 2nd and claim the other available slot at Nationals.  DU posted a 197.275 to just fall short of the Gophers.  NC State was 4th at 196.15.   DU's Lynnzee Brown won the UB and FX with a 10 and the AA at 39.75. Florida's Leah Clapper tied for 1st on BB with DU's Alexis Vasquez and Minn's Lexy Ramler. Gopher Mya Hooten won VT.
