Kentucky held back LSU's comeback to take the evening session in Round 2 of the SLC Regional, and advance to the Final.  LSU also advances, after suffering problems on BB to open the meet.  Arizona and USU tied for third at 196.025.   Kentucky was led by Raena Worley, who tied for 1st on UB with LSU's Sami Durante.  LSU's Kiya Johnson won the AA with a 39.7 and took the FX title.  She also tied for first on VT with teammate Haleigh Bryant.  LSU's Raegan Campbell won BB.

OU posted a 198 to advance to the Tuscaloosa Regional final.  Missouri also advanced, with a season-high 197.325, the third highest score in school history.  Maryland posted a 195.075.  Sooner Anastasia Webb won UB with a 10 and took the AA with a 39.6.  She also tied for first on FX with teammate Olivia Trautman.  Sooner Karrie Thomas won BB with a 9.975.  Trautman and fellow Sooners Audrey Davis, Allie Stern and Katherine Lavasseur tied with Maryland's Alexis Rubio for first on VT.

Michigan won the second session of Round 2 at the Morgantown Regional.  UCLA was 2nd.  Host WVU posted a 195.65 for 3rd, well ahead of Kent State's 194.3.  Sierra Brooks led Michigin, winning the AA (39.65) and the VT.  Teamamtes Abby Heiskell and Gabby Wilson tied for first on FX.  On UB, Wolverine Natalie Wojcik tied with UCLA's Marzetta Frazier and PSU's Alissa Bonsall for first.  On BB, UCLA's Norah Flatley and UNH's Hailey Lui tied for top honors.

Florida and NC State advanced to the Athens Regional Final.  Illinois posted a 196.375 and CMU 195.575.  NC State is the first team to advance to a Regional final after competing through the "play in" round, since the format was introduced in 2018-2019.  They were placed in the "play in" rounds despite qualifying in 26th place.  Florida's Megan Skaggs won VT and the AA (39.65). Teammates completed a sweep: Trinity Thomas on UB, Alyssa Bauman on BB, Nya Reed on FX.

Ute Maile O'Keefe won BB and the AA with a 39.575 to lead the Red Rocks to a spot in the Salt Lake City Regional Finals.   ASU's Hannah Scharf won VT and FX and teammate Cairo Leonard Baker won the UB as the Gym Devils held off SUU's 195.927 and Boise's State's 195.825.  Boise State was in a strong position to challenge for the 2nd spot before problems on BB.

Alabama got 10s from Makarri Doggette on UB and Luisa Blanco on BB to lead Bama to a win in the Tuscaloosa Regional Semi-Finals.  Arkansas placed 2nd in a closely contested round with a 197.25, with Iowa 3rd at 197.05.  Iowa State was not far behind at 196.525.   Blanco also won the AA with 39.8 and tied for 1st on FX with Arkansas' Sophia Carter and Iowa's Jerquavia Henderson.  For Illinois State, individual qualifier Angelica Labat won VT.

Cal posted their second highest score in team history as they advanced to the final of the Morgantown Regional.  Ohio State advanced with a 196.525.  BYU posted a 196.35 and Towson a 195.025 to complete their season.  Cal swept the top places: Nina Schank on VT, Emi Watterson on UB, Maya Bordas on BB, Kyana George on FX, and Andi Li in the AA with a 39.475.

Minnesota posted a 197.625 to easily win their session in Round 2 at the Athens Regional.  Denver posted a 196.775 to narrow edge host UGA's 196.75 and a claim the 2nd spot in the Regional final.  Oregon State posted a 196.375 for fourth.  Ona Loper and Lexy Ramler led the way for the Gophers.  Loper posted a 10 on VT and tied for first on FX with DU's Lynnzee Brown. Ramler won the UB, BB and the AA with a 39.775.

Skinner stepped away from college gymnastics to take a run at spot on the Olympic team, but she has one more year of NCAA eligibility.  This past year she suffered setbacks due to Covid-19 and a foot injury. Over the summer she will reevaluate whether she is healthy enough to compete one more year at Utah.   Barring health issues, she intends to return to Utah in the fall.

UW Stout 184.15 at UW Eau Claire 178.85

Stout continued their winning ways as they concluded their season with a win over Eau Claire.  For Stout, Carlie Beatty won BB and Shadae Boone won FX.  Eau Claire's Tia Ravara won the UB and the AA (37.0).  Teammate Andrea Gessner added a win on VT.

The Gusties narrowly defeated the host Warriors, as their seasons came to a close on Thursday.  Annie Corbett led the way for Gustavus Adolphus, winning VT, BB and the AA with a 37.375.  She also tied for the FX title with Winona State's Shelsea Zehr.  Anna Hiller added a win on UB for the hosts.

UW La Crose 187.3 at Hamline 181.0

The two teams closed out their 2021 campaigns on Thursday night, with UW La Crosse victorious over the host Hamline.  Kaceey Mortenson led La Crosse, winning VT and the AA (37.6).  Teammate Madi Vanderpool won UB while teammate Olivia Opheim won BB.  For Hamline, Madeline Sowinski won FX.

WVU 195.95 at PSU 195.325

Host WVU defeated PSU to advance to the second round at the Morgantown Regional.  Kendra Combs (BB, FX), Kiana Lewis (VT, BB) and Abbie Pierson (VT, FX) grabbed a share of two event titles each for WVU. Teammate Chloe Asper also tied for 1st on BB. For PSU, Cassidy Rushlow won the AA with a 39.05 and tied for 1st on VT.   Nittany Lion Maggie Ayers also tied for 1st on VT while teammates Alissa Bonsall, Bella Romagnano and Ava Verdeflor tied for top honors on the UB.

Audrey Berber posted a 9.9 as the anchor on the last even to lift Maryland to the win.  She also took the AA with a 39.325. Teammate Alexis Rubio won VT while Terp Sanya Glauber won UB.  On FX, Maryland's Collea Burgess tied for top honors with EMU's Jada Rondeau.

NC State 196.425 Over WMU 195.075

NC State easily defeated WMU to advance to the second round at the Athens Regional.  The mark was the Wolfpack's 2nd highest of the season.  NCSU was led once again by Emily Shepard, who won VT and the AA a 39.5.  She also tied for the UB title with teammate Katelyn Cox.  Teammate Chloe Negrete won the FX.  For WMU, Payton Murphy won the BB.
