2026-2027: Merdes to Iowa

Lindsey Merdes, a L10 from LaFleur's, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Iowa, starting in 2026-2027.  A four-time L10 National qualifier, she placed 46th AA at the 2024 Women's Development Program (WDP) L10 Nationals.  She had a banner year in 2023, qualifying to the Nastia Liukin Cup and tying for 4th AA at the 2023 WDP L10 Nationals.  She also tied for 5th on BB and placed 8th on FX at that meet.

2025-2026: Mitchell to Alaska-Anchorage

Becca Mitchell has committed to a full ride scholarship at Alaska-Anchorage, starting in 2025-2026.  She has competed as an elite at the European Championships (2024) for Denmark but trains in Canada at Langley.  She was the Danish AA champion in 2024, winning Gold on VT and FX.  A few weeks ago, she placed 30th AA at Elite Canada.

2026-2027: K. Brown to Temple

Kaiya Brown, a L10 from Palm Coast, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Temple, starting in 2026-2027.  Last season, she placed 11th AA at the Region 8 Level 10 Regionals.

2025-2026: Robins to WMU

Amy Robins, a Canadian L10 from Rose City, has committed to WMU, starting in 2025-2026.  She placed 2nd on UB and 16th AA at the 2023 Canadian Championships, in the CCP10 Age 12 to 15 division.  Last season, she placed 1st AA at the Athlete Warrior Challenge, a US L10 invitational.

2026-2027: DeSousa to Nebraska

Aaliyah DeSousa, a senior high performance (Canada) elite from Flip City in BC, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Nebraska, starting in 2026-2027.  A few weeks ago, she tied for 24th AA at the Elite Canada meet.  She was also 19th AA at the 2024 Canadian Championships.  As a junior in 2023, she was 2nd on UB and 5th AA at the Canadian Championships.

2026-2027: S. Williams to Illinois State

Sydney Williams, a L10 with Dream Extreme, has committed to a full athletic scholarship at Illinois State, starting in 2026-2027.  Last season, she was 2nd on VT and 17th AA at the Region 1 Level Ten Regionals.  She was also the vault champ in 2023, and the runnerup in 2022.

2025-2026: D'Andrea to UNH

Alexa D'Andrea, a L10 at the Connecticut Gymnastics Academy, has switched her commit from Towson to UNH, to continue her academic and athletic career.  At the 2024 Women's Development Program (WDP) Level 10 Nationals, she placed 38th AA.  She also qualified as an individual on UB at the 2023 WDP Nationals.

As we head into Week 11 of the season, we're in the final stretch in the Race to the Regionals.  Teams are still battling out for the Top 36 Regional Qualifiers, and the in particular, the Top 28 (or so) teams that will not have to experience the play-in round at Regionals.  Here's a few

The Race to Regionals is coming down to the last two weeks, and the battle for the seeded positions (Top 16), non play-in seeds (Top 28 or so) and Top 36 has intensified.  At the top, OU remains in the lead, with LSU closing the gap.  Florida is not far behind in third.  UCLA is 4th and Utah is 5th.  Here are the women's National Rankings for the week of March 10th, as compiled by RoadtoNatioonals.

Stanford 197.1 at UCLA 197.675

Host UCLA defeated Stanford on Senior Day on Sunday.  Jordan Chiles dominated, winning VT, UB, FX and the AA at 39.75.  Stanford's Brenna Neault won the BB.

Cal edged MSU to win the Elevate the Stage meeting in Huntsville, Alabama.  Bama was several tenths behind in third.  Cal's Mya Lauzon tied with MSU's Gabrielle Stephen for 1st in the AA at 39.55.  She also tied for first on FX with Bama's Gabby Gladieux and Lilly Hudson.  Cal's Madelyn Williams took the UB.  Stephen won the BB while teammate Sage Kellerman won VT.

NC State 196.675 at TWU 196.6

Host TWU pushed NC State to the wire, but a season best wasn't quite enough to defeat NC State.  NC State's Chloe Negrete won the BB and tied for first on FX with teammates Elle Hadrick and Ashley Knight,  as well as TWU's Sophie Hernandez.  Knight also won the VT.  Teammate Caroline Volk posted the top mark on UB.

Oregon State broke 197 to defeat host San Jose State's season high.  Jade Carey led the Beavers, winning the AA with a 39.825.  She also won the VT and BB with 9.975s and took the UB and FX as well.

Host Sac State edged EMU to win on Sunday afternoon.  The Hornets were led by Hannah Sitzman, who won the UB and Emma Morgenthaler, who won the AA with a 39.125.  Teammate Sarah Lutrel tied for the BB title with EMU's Alana Fisher.  Fisher also took the VT.  EMU's Abby Brushwood won the FX.

Greenville posted a solid 310.05 to win at Simpson on Sunday.  Greenville was led by wins from:  Andres Esquival-Garza on PH, Elijah Cruz on SR, Ricky Mays on VT, Jaxon Clapper on PB and Donovan Diviney on HB.  For Simpson, Tristan Shorey won the FX.

ASU 195.575 at Denver 196.7

Host Denver triumphed on Sunday afternoon, defeating ASU.  Madison Ulhrich led the Pioneers, winning the AA with a 39.475.  She also tied for 1st on UB with teammate Mia Hebinck and ASU's Kimberly Smith, and tied for 1st on FX with teammate Bella Mabanta.  DU's Rosie Casali won the VT.  For ASU, Emily White won the BB.
