Kylie Noonan, L10 at Midwest Gymnastics in Minnesota, has committed to Illinois. She finished 3rdAA at her 2014 state meet, 5th AA (1st FX) at regionals and qualified to JOs.
We're a full month into the season and we're going to take a break from our regular weekly recap to take a look at how judges score routines. But rather than explaining the basics, we are offering a course in "Scoring 201": an intermediate look at some of the deductions beyond the obvious and clear deductions taken by the judges. We are hoping to shed light on where the judges in more strictly judged meets are taking their deductions, for fans that may be unfamiliar with the more subtle points of scoring. We're not experts, but this will hopefully serve as an intermediate lesson on some of the key things that you can usually watch for.
SUU defeated visiting Ball State on Monday night. SUU's Jamie Armijo posted a meet-high 9.9 to win the UB and lead the Thunderbirds to the win. Teammates Danielle Ramirez and Stacie Webb won VT and BB, respectively. Ball State's Denasiha Christian won another FX title.

The CGA Coaches' Poll has OU garnering all 13 first place votes and taking the top spot once again. Stanford is 2nd and PSU 3rd.

OU takes the top spot in this this week's National Rankings for Women, as published by Troester.com GymInfo. Florida moves back into 2nd, just ahead of LSU. Utah and Michigan are closing the distance on the top three. Then, 0.306 points back is Bama, another 0.487 points back is the rest of the pack, led by NU.
Navy pulled out a win, despite missing several athletes to injury. In a twist, this was Navy's final home meet of the season. Jonny Tang won the AA with an 82.6.

OU broke 440 again to score a big tri-meet win over Iowa and Ohio State. Nine different OU gymnasts grabbed at least a share of an event title, but no one won more than one. Michael Reid won the PH with a meet-high 15.7.

Air Force downed service academy foe Army with a comfortable 426.7 to 412.8 win, winning five of six events as a team. Nick Gaudlip led Air Force with wins on the FX and HB.

SUNY-Brockport's Stephanie Schuler won the UB and tied for the VT title with teammate Ananda Carney to help lead her squad to a win. Lily Jagodzinski added a win on the FX for Brockport State and a tie for the BB title with Ithaca's Rachel Lee.

WMU handed NIU its first loss of the season, using a lineup of all underclassmen. Kelsey Hood led WMU, winning the AA with a 38.85 and tying for the UB title with teammate Jessie Peszek and NIU's Meg Piepenbrink. Teammate Audry Merritt won the FX. For NIU, Megan Greenfield won VT and BB.

Penn was led by Elyste Shenberger, who won the UB. WCU's Majesta Valentine won the FX, AA (38.375) and tied for the VT title to lead her squad. Cornell's Sarah Schupp and Alicia Bair shared the vault title. For Ursinus, Kaelin Ruoss and Kristina Steffenhagen shared the BB title.

Cami Drouin-Allaire posted a 39.075 to win the AA and lead the Colonials to another win. Teammate Chelsea Ranieri chipped in with wins on FX andd VT. GWI frosh Jillian Winstanley won the UB. Bowling Green's Laura Mitchell won the BB.

Christine "Peng-Peng" Lee won UB and BB to lead the Bruins to the win over up and coming rival Cal. Bruin star Samantha Peszek was limited to UB due to a calf injury. Teammate Sadiqua Bynum won the FX. Cal frosh Toni Ann Williams won the VT. She also posted a 38.9 in the AA (issues with a leap series on BB).

Michigan State claimed the 500th win in the program's 41 year history. They held off host Rutgers to win the quad meet. Anna Gamelo, a frosh, helped MSU to the win with a 9.9 victory on FX. Teammate Mackenzie Smith won the UB, while Spartan Nicola Deans tied for the VT title with Rutger's Luisa Leal. Rutger's Claudia Salinas won the BB.

EMU scored the big win in the quad meet featuring teams from Michigan and Illinois. They were led by Anna Willette, who posted a 38.95 to win the AA. CMU swept the individual events, but had issues on UB and BB. Halle Moraw won the vault and floor, while Kylie Fagan picked up another win on UB. Teammate Caroline Fitzpatrick picked up another win on beam.

OU posted a 197.7 to grab the win over LSU at 197.425. Arkansas put up a 196.25 and ISU placed 4th with a score of 193.4. No one competed AA for OU in this meet. LSU's Courville won the AA with a 39.625.
