Mallory Moredock, L10 at Georgia Gym Academy, has committed to Texas Women's. This season she finished 3rd AA and 1st on vault at her state meet. She finished 6th AA at regionals and qualified to JOs.
Cassidy Keelen, L10 from Texas Dreams, has committed to Cal Berkeley. This season she won the Heart of a Champion (1st V/BB/FX) and the HNI (1st V/BB/FX). In fact, she picked up vault and floor titles at most of her meets over the season. She placed 1st AA/V/FX at her state meet and 2nd AA; 1st V/FX at regionals.
Rachel Gowey, recent international elite qualifier from Chow's, has committed to Florida. In 2012 she won her state and regional meets and finished 2nd AA and 1st on beam at JOs.
Alexandra Hyland, L10 at Arnold's Gymnastics in Mass., has committed to Kentucky. She placed 1st AA, 1st on beam and 2nd in the other events at her 2012 state meet. At regionals she finished 4th AA and 1st on bars. She placed 6th AA in her third appearance at JOs.
Washington signed two more athletes for 2013-2014, Janae Janik and Faith Morrison. Their commits were covered in prior news items. In addition, Kaitlin Duranczyk will now be on scholarship and Fall signee Megan Delallo will not enroll.

Cornell will welcome five gymnasts for the 2013-2014 season. They include: Alexandra Bourgeois, Krystin Chiellini, Alex Gremillion, Elana Molotsky and Audrey Ryals. The news of all of the commits were covered in prior news items, except for the addition of Bourgeois. She's a L10 from 3D Gymnastics who placed 17th AA at her state meet this past season. As a L9 in 2012, she placed 11th AA at the L9 Eastern Nationals.

Sarah Means, L10 at Gymcats in Nevada, has committed to Boise State. She won the vault and floor titles at her 2012 state meet and placed 2nd AA overall. She placed 4th AA at regionals and qualified for her second consecutive trip to JOs.

Dave Kuzara served as Michigan's assistant coach in the past. Now he returns with a wealth of experience gained from his coaching positions in other NCAA programs.
Former Olympian Brett McClure has accepted the head coaching position for Berkeley's men's team.
SPU has annouced their incoming recruiting class. Joining Renee Zografos, who was mentioned in a previous announcement, are Breanna Beltran, L10 from Champions in California; Kristi Hayashida, L10 from HITS in Hawaii; Lauren Glover, L10 from GK Gymnastics in Colorado; and Paige Blaney from Altadore Gymnastics in Alberta, Canada.
Ball State Head Coach Nadalie Walsh has been named the new Head Coach at Utah State. She comes to the Aggies after six seasons at Ball State and three seasons at UW Oshkosh, both as Head Coach. USU did not renew the contract of Jeff Richards in April.

Illinois has announced Chad Wiest as their new assistant coach. Wiest was an athlete on the Illinois men's team and he coached for Bowling Green.
Shea Mahoney, L10 at Legacy Elite in Illinois, has committed to Alabama. She is the 2013 J.O. National Floor Champion and was also 3rd All-Around. She is Regional Beam Champion and 2nd All-Around at Regional Championships. She is the 2013 State All-Around Champion and Vault Champion. She is on the J.O. National Team and the Region 5 All-Star Team.

Maddie Johnson, L10 at Flips in Minnesota, has committed to Iowa State. Maddie is a two-time JO qualifier. This season she finished 2nd AA at her state meet and 5th AA at regionals.
