Men's P&G Championships: Day 1

Donnell Whittenburg took a slim lead over former NCAA champion Sam Mikulak on the first day of the P&G (US) Championships.  Former OU Sooners Chris Brooks and Jake Dalton are in 3rd and 4th, respectively.

It was a stellar day for young NCAA stars:  OU's Yul Moldauer is 5th, Stanford's Akash Modi is 6th, and Ohio State's Sean Melton is 7th.  Just 0.85 separates first from seventh.  Former Michigan gymnast Marvin Kimble is 8th while former Illini Paul Ruggeri is 9th.  Fellow former Illini CJ Maestas is 10th.
