2017-18 Linnen to WVU

McKenna Linnen, L10 from Gym America, has committed to West Virginia.  She had top 5 finishes at the Brestyans' Invitational and Wolverine Classic this season.  She placed 18th AA at her state meet.

Baumann to Defer One Year at Florida

Florida signee Alyssa Baumann will defer one year to rehab her recent elbow injury, which required surgery.  The injury and deferral is a major blow to the Gator's otherwise outstanding frosh class.

The college search for athletes has grown complicated and increasingly competitive, especially during the past 10 years. There are countless components that require attention in developing and executing a successful plan of action, along with several “key players” who make-up the team that “run the offense.”

Josh Nilson has moved from  USU to PSU as an assistant coach.  Josh brings many years of coaching experience and regional coaching honors to his new position.

2017-18 Gottula to Missouri

Belle Gottula, L10 from AIM Gymnastics, has committed to Missouri.  This season she finihed 4th AA at her state meet and 3rd AA (1st on Vault) at regionals.  She placed 19th AA at JOs.

2016-17 Bullitt to USU

Precision Gymnastics has announced that Makayla Bullitt's has signed with Utah State.  She finished 1st AA and 1st on bars at her 2016 state meet and 7th AA at regionals.  She finished the season with a 4th place AA at JOs.

2020-21 Butler to Auburn

Brooke Butler, L10 at American Twisters, has committed to Auburn.  She placed 1st AA and 1st on vault, beam and floor at her 2016 state meet.  She placed 1st AA and 1st on vault and beam at regionals.  She placed 3rd AA at JOs.

2018-19 Yoakum to TWU

Glory Yoakum, L10 from Pearland Gymnastics, has committed to TWU.  She finished 10th AA at her 2016 state meet and 9th AA at regionals.

US Women's Olympic Team Named

2016-2017: WVU Adds Fontaine

WVU has added Erica Fontaine for 2016-2017.  She's a two-time L10 JO National qualifier who trained at Hill's.  In 2016, she won the Regional AA and BB titles at the Region 7 L10 Regionals.   She also placed 48th AA at the 2015 L10 JO Nationals.

USU signs Miller

As expected, Kiera Miller has signed with Utah State.  She will join the team this seson.

Announcement

The five autonomy conference have reached an agreement on a proposal intended to promote student-athlete welfare.   It centers around a concept called "Flex 21". This proposal provides for new limits on team related items, like travel, that consume student-athlete time.

2018-19 Higgins to Minnesota

Kaitlyn Higgins, L10 at Gymnastics Academy of Rockford, has committed to Minnesota.  She placed 6thAA at regionals and 8thAA at JOs this season.

Anne Meade has been hired as an assistant coach at Pitt.  As a long time coach at North Stars and a former NCAA competitior, she brings many years of experience.

2019-20 Worley to UK

Raena Worley, L10 at Virginia Tehcniques, has committed to Kentucky.  She placed 1st on beam and 3rd AA at her state meet this season.  She was 3rd AA at regionals and 14th AA at JOs.

Washington's new Head Coach Elise Ray has announced the hiring of Caleb Phillips and Chad Wiest as assistants.  Phillips comes to the Huskies from Iowa, where he was an assistant for seven years.  He also spent four years as assistant at SUU.  Wiest joins UW from Illinois, where he has assisted the last three years.  Prior to that, he was an assistant at Bowling Green for two years.  He was also a standout for the Illini men.
