Towson posted a 191.95 to defeat W&M on Wednesday night. Kacy Catanzaro of Towson won the VT, UB and BB to lead the Tigers. Teammate Avis Hixon added a win on FX. W&M's Melissa Cream won the AA.

Randi Lau, a former elite from Kokokahi Gymnastics in Hawaii, has committed to LSU. The former Jr. National Team member placed 19th AA at the 2009 American Classic and 8th AA at the 2008 US Nationals. She will graduate early and compete for LSU in 2012. At the recent Region 2 L10 Regionals, she placed 3rd AA and 1st on BB in the Senior B division.
Tory Wilson, a L10 at Gold Cup in New Mexico, has committed to Utah, according to a brief article at the USA Gymnastics website. This season, Wilson placed 1st AA at the ConocoPhillips meet, the Gold Cup, the Winter Fiesta, Chicago Style, and Spirit of the Flame, and she picked up many inidividual event wins throughout the season. She qualified for and competed in the 2011 Liukin Supergirl Cup, placing 18th. Wilson placed 9th AA, 6th on UB, 7th(t) on FX and 10th(t) on VT at the 2010 L10 Nationals, Junior D.
The short profile indicates she is a senior this year, which would place her one year ahead of her normal graduation date.

Maggie Dunn, L10 at Brestyan's in Massachusetts, has committed to Ohio State for the 2012-13 season. This season she finished 2nd AA (1st BB) at the Pilgrim Invite, 2nd AA at the COTC and 3rd AA (1st BB) at the WOGA Classic. In 2010 she finished 1st AA (1st V/UB/BB) at her state meet, 1st AA (1st V/BB/FX) at her regional meet and 9th AA at JOs.
CMU welcomes five athletes for 2011-2012: Tori Garcia, Preslee Harrald, Halle Moraw, Taylor Noonan, and Rachel York. The commits of Harrald, Moraw, and York were covered previously.
Garcia is a L10 who trains at IGI. As a L9 in 2009, she was 5th on BB and 18th AA at the Level 9 Eastern Nationals. Link: Video Channel

Stanford takes over the top spot in the Troester.com GymInfo Men's National Ranking for the week of March 7th. OU' Steve Legendre remains the leader in the AA and on the FX. Illinois' Daniel Ribeiro is the top PH worker, while Ohio State's Brandon Wynn is the top ring man. OU's Jake Dalton, off this weekend at the American Cup, holds the top spot on VT. Stanford's Ryan Lieberman leads the PB while Illinois' Paul Ruggeri still holds the top spot on HB (but is out for the year).

SUU's Shannon Coughlin posted a career-best 9.9 on the FX to push the Thunderbirds past Auburn for the victory. For BYU, Haylee Rollins won VT and UB. AU's Kylie Shields won the BB and the AA for the Tigers.

By the time you reach this point, you will have likely narrowed your college choices down to a select few and trust me...So have the coaches.
CMU posted a season high to defeat a season high from Brown and host UNH's 2nd highest score of the season. Andrea de la Garza led CMU, winning the AA and the VT. For UNH, Austyn Fobes won the UB and tied for 1st on FX with teammate Katie Caliendo. Teammate Chelsea Steinberg won the VBB.

This week's Troester.com GymInfo National ranking show some shuffling, as some teams were able to drop their lowest scores in their average, while some of the teams with less meet to meet variation dropped in the rankings.
Florida once again leads the Top 25 rankings, in team total and on VT, BB and FX. Oregon State takes over the top spot on UB after a strong effort Sunday. Bama took over the #2 spot, with Stanford dropping to third. OU is fourth and the Beavers are fifth.
Oregon State upset Stanford to setup a showdown at the Pac-10 meet in two weeks. Oregon State was led by Makayla Stambaugh, who won the AA with a 39.525, including a tie for 1st on BB with teammate Jen Kesler and Cal's Nicolette Lew. Teammate Olivia Vivian won UB, while Beaver frosh Brittney Ranzy won VT. Stanford's Ashley Morgan won the FX.

UGA came from behind to defeat the Bruins at home, who struggled with three falls on BB. A strong finish on VT and UB sealed the win for UGA. Cassidy McComb led Georgia, winning the AA with a 39.525, including a tie for 1st on FX with UCLA's Tauny Frattone and Niki Tom. Teammate Kat Ding won the UB. UCLA's Elyse Hopfner Hibbs won the BB, while Frattone tied with Olivia Courtney for the VT title.

SEMO posted a 193.875 in their final home meet, celebrating Senior Night with the win. Margaret O'Neal captured titles on VT and UB to lead SEMO. Teammate Sarah Brillhart won BB while senior Brianna Gaddie won FX. Senior Christina Sundgren won the AA with a career-high 38.95.
