Host BYU triumphed over Utah State in a special daytime meet on Friday. BYU's Shannon Evans won the AA with a 39.425 to lead the Cougars. She also won UB and tied for titles on FX (w/ BYU's Briana Pearson & USU's Madi Sessions) and on VT (w/ BYU's Rebekah Bean & USU's Logan Varnadore). Hannah Barry of Johns Academy has committed to Bridgeport.She qualified to regionals last season. This season she has competed individual events at her meets so far.
Ashley Goeltl from Flyaways Gold has committed to Gustavus. She qualified to regionals last season. This season she competed at the Gopher Invite and finished 5th AA
Taylor Wilson from Memphis Point Gymnastics has committed to Centenary. She qualified to L9 regionals in 2017. This season she competed to a 5th place finish at the Music City Invitational.
Makenna Smith from Gold Cup in New Mexico has committed to Ohio State. She qualified to JOs last season, finishing 2nd on FX and 13th AA. She competed at the 2019 Kurt Thomas Invitational and placed 3rd AA.
EMU opened their home slate with a win over Ball State. EMU's Emili Dobronics won FX and the AA (38.925) to lead the Eagles. Teammate Ciara Gresham won VT while EMU's Cortney Bezold won UB. For Ball St, Jordyn Penny won BB.

Washington has signed Ellie Bagley, a L10 from Azarian's, for 2019-2020. She committed quite some time ago but was not included in the Fall signing release.

SEMO announced the signing of Taylor Fishkin to an NLI for 2019-2020. She's a L10 from CNY who also competes on her high school squad. She 2nd on VT and 14th AA at the 2018 Region VI L10 Regionals. (Note: Signings are now continuous throughout the year).

Both teams hit season highs but host Cal prevailed as the two Bay Area rivals met on Monday night. Cal's Toni Ann Williams won BB and tied for the VT title with teammate Kyana George and Stanford's Rachel Flam. The Bears' Nina Schank won UB while her frosh teammate Milan Clausi tied on FX with Stanford's Kyla Bryant. Bryant won the AA with a 39.425.

UCLA posted a big 197.775 on Martin Luther King Day to defeat the visitors from ASU. Madison Kocian posted a 10 on UB to lead UCLA. Nia Dennis won VT and Kyla Ross, Margzetta Frazier and Katelyn Ohashi tied on the FX for the Bruins. Ross also took the AA with a 39.45. ASU's Justine Callis won BB. Many fans and other media observing the broadcast also thought that Ohashi appeared to step out of boards after her double layout.

Host UGA hit 197.0 and Iowa St just missed 196 (195.9) as both squads hit season highs on Monday afternoon. UGA's Sydney Snead won the AA with a 39.525. She also won VT. Teammate Marissa Oakley won UB while GymDogs Rachel Lukacs and Sabrina Vega tied on FX. Iowa St's Grace Woolfolk won BB.

OU maintained their grip on the top spot, despite "only" posting a 197.0 this weekend. UCLA is 2nd and Florida is 3rd, as both teams have closed the gaps. Utah solidly in fourth and LSU is now in fifth, after a strong performance this weekend.
Due to the three day weekend and two weather-related postponements, only one meet was held on Sunday. Host West Chester defeated Ursinus 188.875 to 183.225. West Chester picked up wins from Ashley Duke on UB, Sarah Boyd on BB, and Jessica Meakim on FX. For Ursinus, Lindsay Rush won VT.

Stanford picked up the win over Bay Area rival Cal, for the second consecutive weekend. For the Cardinal, Bryan Perla won FX, Brody Malone won VT, and Grant Breckenridge won PB. Stanford's Thomas Lee tied with Cal's Harrison Plate on R. For Cal, frosh Darren Wong won the AA with an 81.0 and also took the PH. Teammate Aaron Mah won HB.

Illinois posted a 403.15 to win its fifth straight Windy City Invitational. Michigan was 2nd at 402.0, with Minnesota 3rd at 399.8. Iowa was next at 394.7 while Washington's club squad posted a 370.15, enough to outpace the host UIC's 357.25. Clay Mason Stephens led the Illini, winning FX and tying for the VT title with Minnesota's Vitaly Kan and Michigan's Nick Guy. Teammate Michael Paradise won PH while Illini Alex Diab won rings. Michigan's Cameron Bock won the AA (80.65), while teammates Mitchell Brown and Justin Hopgood took the PB and HB, respectively.

OU opened its home slate with a win over Air Force and ASU's club squad. Genki Suzuki led the Sooners, winning the AA with an 83.6 and taking the PH and PB. OU sophomore Gage Dyer won VT and tied for the HB title with teammate Levi Anderson (and one other). Sooner frosh Vitaly Guimaraes won FX, while Yul Moldauer posted a big 15.1 to win the rings.
