Oklahoma leads the Women's National Rankings for the Week of January 14th, as compiled by RoadtoNationals.com.  With more teams in action this weekend, there has been a shakeup in the rankings as teams record scores.

Brown 188.9 at Alaska-Anchorage 191.175

Alaska completed a two-meet sweep over Brown in an extended homestand this weekend.  UAA's Sophia Hyderally won FX and tied for the FX title with Brown's Rose Domonoske. Brown's Mei-Li Costa won VT and UB.

UIC continues to show some of their best gymnastics, as their program battles against elimination.  They picked up a big win over Kent State in the process.  UIC's Mikailla Northern won the AA (39.05) and tied for the UB title with teammate Toni Alicke. UIC's Kayla Baddeley won BB while frosh teammate Alisa Sheremeta won FX.  For Kent State, Dara Williams won VT.

Boise State posted it's highest ever opening score, a 196.4, to defeat San Jose State (193.05) and Air Force (191.875).  Boise State's Shani Remme won the BB (9.95), FX and the AA (39.5).  Teammate Sarah Means won the VT while Broncos Courtney Macgregor and Emily Muhlenhaupt tied for the UB title.

Oregon State prevailed in a tight quad meet hosted by Illinois, perhaps foreshadowing how tough the new post-season format will be.  UK's Mollie Korth won the VT and AA (39.075).  Illini Mary Jane Otto won UB and BB while teammate Kylie Noonan won FX.

2020-21 Charli Cohen to W&M

Charli Cohen from American Twisters has committed to William and Mary.  She qualified to regionals in 2019.

NIU 193.95 at WMU 195.075

Host WMU posted a big 195.075 to defeat NIU.  Rachael Underwood of WMU won the AA (39.275), VT, BB and tied for the FX title with NIU's Anna Martucci.  Bronco Morgan Spence won UB.

Iowa 193.5 at UNH 193.95

Host UNH held off Iowa to get the win on Sunday.  They were led by Danielle Mulligan, who won the UB and posted a 38.7 AA.  Teammate Erin Carroll won VT while Wildcat Emma Winer won FX.  For Iowa, frosh Allie Gilchrist and Bridget Killian tied for the BB title.

UNC posted a big quad meet win at the Lindsey Ferris Invitational with a 194.175.  They were led by Khazia Hislop, who won the VT and tied for the FX title with GWU;s Cydney Crasa and teammate Madison Hargrvave.  GWU's Alex Zois won the AA with a 39.05 while frosh teammate Simone Banen won BB.  For Ball State, Jordyn Penny won UB.

Maryland opened the season with an easy win in a home quad meet.  Maryland's Alecia Farina won FX and tied teammate Emilie Leblanc for 1st on UB.  Teammates Collea Burgess and Kristen Peterman won the VT and AA (38.5), respectively. Penn's Caroline Moore won BB. ,

Men's: Stanford 411.25 at Cal 392.35

Stanford posted a solid 411.25 to win the Cal Benefit Cup.  Grant Breckenridge led the Cardinal with an 80.75 AA.

Men's: OU Wins the Rocky Mountain Open

OU posted a 411.25 to extend their NCAA-best winning streak to 102 wins.  NU was 2nd at 404.35, just ahead of Minnesota in 3rd at 403.9.  Ohio State posted a 398.5 for 4th, while ASU's club squad hit for a 392.75.  The host Air Force Falcons posted a 384.55.

Kyla Ross scored a 10.0 on UB while Katelyn Ohashi of UCLA posted a 10.0 on FX to lead the Bruins to a 49.7 on the event.  She also added a 9.975 on BB.  Full results will be posted when available.

Washington 195.25 at Nebraska 195.55

Taylor Houchin posted a 9.875 to win floor and to lift the Huskers to a win over Washington.  The two teams were tied for much of the meet, with NU pulling away in the 2nd half.  Houchin also won the UB.  Teammate Sienna Crouse took the VT and the AA (39.2).  Sierra Hassel completed the sweep with a win on BB.

PSU 195.15, Temple 194.7 and Towson 190.225

PSU won the LIttle Boston Invitational, posting a 195.15 to hold off Temple (194.7) and defeat Towson (190.225).  The Nittany Lions were led by wins from Sabrina Garcia on UB and frosh Melissa Astarita on FX.  Temple's Ariana Castrence won the VT and took the AA with a 39.15.  Towson's Emerson Hurst won the BB.
